Loving this course, can i just ask some advice please ~
i’m working on a project which will be a render of a ship moored at a dock at a tropical island. what would be the best approach for creating the water for the render, this applied to a plane, or a proper Ocean sim baked at a point that has nice waves etc? would either one give a more realistic result, or be far faster etc?

I’m not certain which approach would be better. Both are good options and I suspect that both would render at similar speeds. I encourage you to test both approaches and choose which you think is best – I’d be curious to hear what you choose!
