EDIT: Just got a lightning-quick reply from Dennis at CG Cookie Support. Basically, Firefox has been known to break certain legitimate sites due to some overzealous privacy protection policies.
Unfortunately for myself, I just tried to disable privacy protection, disable all my add-ons, clear all data, and try again. Still nothin’. YMMV tho.
In the meantime, it seems plenty of browsers still work just fine, so maybe in the next Firefox update it’ll fix itself? Hard to say, and really hard to pin down.
Reaching out to Mozilla about this is always an option. Maybe it’ll help them fix other site display issues too?
…now if only Brave browser had sexy themes and a dark mode. . .
Many kudos to Dennis for his insights. He’s an awesome guy. 🙂
Hey @killer-wolf , you’re definitely not alone! I had the same issue happen with me, also using Firefox. Sure, I use NoScript and AdBlock and such, but I made sure to whitelist CGCookie in all of those. But everything still worked fine until now.
Just in case, I disabled all my add-ons, cleared all the browser data, even restarted my machine because hey why not, but no dice.
Site loads just fine in Brave browser, which also has tons of privacy and other blockers built in.
Totally stumped as well, and I’m far from being a web-dev, so I sent a ticket to support@cgcookie.com as @jlampel suggested. 🙂
