      Here I see that he converted the curve to a mesh to give it a bevel, but there is an option to create a bevel directly in Curve.

        Hi shneor @TwoLight ,

        True, but that one gives you a lot less control over the Bevel and even makes the (Curve) Object larger:

          In Blender there is always a gazillion ways to do the same thing. Usually the approach you take is a matter of personal preference really. So don’t worry, you can get to your goal in your own way and you don’t have to guess if you’re doing it right or wrong.
