Is this new forum colour scheme going to be permanent?

A bit of a weird question I know , but my computer just spent the last 5 days rendering out frames for an animated GIF logo for my DEVLOG thread that had the grey background that CGC has used for years in the forum to make it appear transparent….. and then as luck would have it , I have gone to post it tonight and the new Mavenseed forum layout uses a completely new dark grey background…..

I am just wondering if any of the staff can confirm that the colour scheme is going to stay this way before I set another long render going. (I realise that I could render the frames with a transparent background and composite the correct colour into it but I am having technical issues on that front so it was easier to just colour pick the CGC forum background colour and render it as the background)

Apologies for the switch, and sounds like pretty bad timing on our part. The good news, is I really hope we don’t migrate to another platform at least for another decade. 😅 One migration every decade is my limit. 🙂

Haha . no worries…. like you say , just bad timing. The new render is going and will hopefully be on the thread on Monday. Thanks Wes!

Also , I just tried the GIF upload again and it kicked me back to the homepage when the upload bar got to 100%
