Is there any particular reason for using substance painter?

Is there any particular reason for using substance painter? looking into buying either substance painter or the quixel suite… but im not very sure about which one i could get… your opinion and input will be much valued…

Hey @meizner , to be fair I haven’t used the Quixel suite so I can’t do a direct comparison, but you can certainly get great results from either one. I enjoy the procedural nature of Substance Designer and then in turn plugging those materials into Painter, but it likely comes down to personal preference or what specific project you’re working on. I’m pretty sure both have free trials, so give ’em a spin and see which you like best!
