Is there an option to move the camera, orbit around the object while using knife tool? When I am trying to do so it just adds more cuts.

OK, I see. I guess it may be something with Maya controls scheme I am using. I can move up-down, or left-right, I can zoom in and out, but I can not rotate/orbit. When I am trying to use ALT+LMB I am adding more cuts instead of moving the camera. This is going to be painful experience I guess.
