Is the 2010 training series – Kara still aviable anywhere?

Hi there,

long time ago I watched the 2010 training series for character modelling, which introduced Kara http://www.anekatutorial.com/images/uploads//blen.jpg

This course provided a whole bunch of very usefull tipps I would like to review. Unfortunatly I can’t find any vid of this course, Does somebody know any source to get this particular tutorial?

Actually I beg to differ. I have it downloaded including the source files from when I first signed  up as a citizen years ago. I’ll be happy to upload it via Google Drive if no one objects.

Edit: I had a closer look. Sadly I think at least half is missing. I recall being parts on texturing, rigging, and animating. However I’m pretty sure I’ve got all the modeling parts still. I might be able to find the full version in one of my very old backups, if it’s still around.

Even so the newer Introduction is more up to date, I really liked the ‘older’ character (‘Kara’).

thank you for your offer, no need to overdo! The modeling part and maybe the reference pics would be fine – approval provided!

Me as a Beginner in Charactermodeling (no commercial use – promised!) would be glad.

Thanks a lot! I don’t know exactly how to return the favor. But some time ago I found this Tools for human movement: https://www.biomotionlab.ca/demos/ (see the BML Walker for example). I guess it can be helpful for animations as there are very simplyfied joint movements with an impressive effect on representation of emotions and characters. You may spread it to animators if it isn’t known anyway.

I have it but its close to 11gb compressed, no way I am uploading that into a cloud drive… youtube?

@jubiref Dear me, I am so sorry. I kept an eye on this thread for a couple of days but when no reply was forthcoming, I dropped it assuming the subject had been discarded.

I’ve just jumped back into my account only to see this post at the forefront and the replies I’ve missed. I’ve found the complete course in one of my old backups and it’s about 9 gigs in the original zip format. I’m ready to upload it to my google drive if someone still wishes for it.

@shisou it works great . trough i still havent downloaded them all . ill try to continue downloading the rest tomorrow . currently the internet speed is somehow slow so it will take some time to get them all downloaded. thanks so much for sharing .
