is it really needed?

This section is just too confusing  for me. Is it really needed to get along or  is it ok to skip it , the kick section is way easier to me.

You can skip anything you want, Jens.  You are in control of your own learning.

However, if you want to learn how to animate a translating walk cycle, these videos show you how.

Walk cycles aren’t easy.  They just look easy because it’s easy to walk in real life.  Animation is hard….I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned that before.
