Is it phsyically accurate?

I’m wondering, is it psychically accurate that the ball stretches before hitting the ground?

No it isn’t physically accurate.

But this is animation, so we have artistic license to change things to make it “better than real life”.

You will see how this stretch landing applies to a full character later.  

You will see that everything is a bouncing ball.
