Is it considered a problem if I stay on 2.79? I really dont have time to re learn Blender from scratch, which is what 2.8 i s like to me, so different.

It’s not a terrible choice to stick with 2.79. Like any new software, first versions are often buggy and less stable than updated versions down the road. You won’t be alone if you chose to do so either. I suspect the Blender community will be split for several month if not a year.

But eventually 2.79 will grow dusty and everyone will switch to 2.8. Tis the way these things go.

I guess that sounds pretty realistic, I was planning to keep modelling in 2.79, then import into 2.8 to use  Eevee features, I will have to switch over , but give it some time. Thanks Kent.
