Is it alright to move UV’s until they are blue?

The unwrap worked well for me and all but I saw some light green squares. When I moved them, the green squares and the surrounding squares all turn into dark blue; Which is what we want right?

Yes it’s OK to manually move around your UVs till they’re blue, since blue represents minimal UV stretching. Personally I don’t think there’s a noticeable improvement from green to blue so I’m satisfied to that range. And if good seams are cut, the unwrap algorithm should deliver a blue-green result.

If you have the patience though, there’s nothing wrong with tweaking them till they’re all blue or close to it.
