Instruction videos not for Blender? Only Unity?

How does the Unity instruction videos translate to Blender? The whole process of creating the explosion was in Unity. There is an Blender file, but not explained in Blender.

I think the Lessons are in the wrong order, start with the last one of Chapter 1 and work your way up to the first Lesson of Chapter 1.

This is however a Unity Course, from the time when CGCookie had Unity, Blender, (Clay) Sculpting and (digital) Drawing sections. Blender is merely used to Render out Image Sequences. It also uses a pretty old Version of Unity.
