Inset on the circle buttons

When I use control I I’m not getting an exact inset of the original shape. It’s more like an oval than a circle which throws the entire thing off. https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/422611064228675587/1082342698062725190/image.png?width=546&height=452

Here’s an image of what I’m getting. It also effects the bevel in the next step.

It’s because I didn’t select the object when I applied scale in object mode. Don’t forget to apply scale, folks.
