      Hello I tried pressing I for inseting but then the dotted line appear like it’s working fine but the circles do not inset at all no matter how much I move the mouse around. I tried looking up for info on google, applying Scale pressing B and all the other options you can try when pressing I nothing works if someone can help that would be great because I don’t understand why this is happening while at previous steps it worked just fine.

        Hi Ham RED @ashromNTL ,

        That’s hard to tell, but maybe it is like this:

        A Circle by default has no Faces and maybe you forgot to press F to ‘Fill’ the first Circle with a Face, before you Duplicated it.

        Inset needs a Face.

          Post a screenshot or a screen recording to have a better idea what’s going on.

          Also sometimes you everything selected and there’s no place to inset to, you need a face selected. Also try removing doubles, that seems to be the number one issue. So select everything and M to merge by distance.

            Thank you guys for the replies I recorded the interaction then saw that I didn’t fill the faces of the circles thank you a lot I did not know a face was needed i can keep on the tutorial fine now.
