In texture paint, can i use the accumulate option as an Erase tool ?

Here is my problem: I’ve started the texture paint, and I wish to have a way to erease some mistakes that i’ve done.
So yeah there is the control Z option but the problem is: you don’t know when you gonna see a mistake.
Sometimes you see a problem on your texture only at the end and… the Ctrl+Z option can delete a huge part of your work if your mistake was made at the very begining.

So i wonder if i can use the accumulate option (just under the blend options) with a white color to make a kind of eraser…

I don’t know if it can causes some issues (because the accumulate tool put colors on top of each other)

the accumulate option (to my understanding) is to add each stroke that you make to the last one (some brushes work to a certain level and then stop)…

to erase hold the alt key on PC while using the brush that you painted with (again to my understanding) this way you can toggle between add and erase…
