        I’m not sure why it works this way, but when baking AO the system looks at the render resolution of your multires set by in the modifier – regardless of the “Bake from Multi-res” option. There must be separate algorithms for the displacement, normal, and bump bakes that are triggered by the “Bake from Multires” option.

          Wow, thank you for replying Mr.Kent! OK, seems blender sometimes these kinds of hidden settings like pose library doesn’t record bones with prefix “DEF”. But that doesn’t change the fact that blender is awesome.
