I used the scene I made for the physics course as scene 1 for this lesson. I got it to load, but the lighting is wrong. The directional light is there, but the scene is very dark. When I load the original scene the lighting looks great, but when I access it via scene 0, it’s dark. Any ideas?

It’s a weird bug with Unity. If you build the game or just bake the lighting you shouldn’t have that issue. It’s only when testing and switching between scenes does that ever happen.
