I need help with this texture.

i am trying for about 5 hours to match the texture of this weapon:

But all i got is this :
I don’t know what to do at this point due to my lack in painting skills. Any help is greatly appreciated

I can’t tell what you’re having trouble with; it looks fine to me.

If you’d like to make it identical to the reference, I’d add a little bit more range; more dark, more light.
