I might be missing something obvious, but I am not certain what is the purpose of Remove Alpha blend mode for brushes? So when I am using it, I don’t get any updates on my mesh data in 3D port, the mesh stays fully colored, as if no erasing alpha were applied. Am I supposed to get “blank” areas on 3d model as well? It is not clear from video to me…

I don’t think you will see any effect in the viewport unless you have the texture set up to be alpha-transparent and the viewport display set to GLSL.
