I can’t seem to change the ‘ball type’ in the UI panel – all I can do is hide the different types in the ouliner which is a bit of a pain when animating it…

Thanks lordgert, we’ll look into that. There might be an issue with the file.

I’ve never gotten the script to work, but could deal with it with previous animations. Now, with the multiple balls exercise, I can’t get the ball to stay where I’ve set it. As soon as I try to move a ball, it changes back to a basketball, and everything’s visibility is turned on in the outliner.

Neither can I change the “ball type” sin the UI Panel. Plus whenever I select 1 of the 4 tans (Root, Body, Squash, Spin) the UI flies all over the place , AND does NOT even select its respective counterpart (If a click “Squash” it highlights in the tab but does nothing to the squash controls in the viewport. This exercise is quite glitchy, so much so that I can’t continue until fixed. Using 2.77

Got the script running, but cannot change texture with the script, sad to say.

Try pressing ‘reload trusted’ in the info bar and have ‘auto-run-python-scripts’ in the user prefs.
