      I believe that there is a bug in Blender (2.77) where when using Cycles sometimes the UV mapping does not come over to the 3D view. This makes it extremely difficult to tell where the edges of each UV map are. The only fix I found was to switch to Blender Render and not use Cycles. Please let me know if there is a setting or something I missed in Cycles Render.

        Edit: @ 1:10 is what I cannot replicate. When I select solid nothing changes in my 3D view.
