I am trying to use Array on a project not for this tire project. But when I am applying the array it is scaling the offset object. I know I have to SHIFT-A and select scale to set scaling to “1” to match the array abject. I know this is a simple fix I have been away from blender for a bit of time need to get the fired burning. Anyone have some options and tips?

I tried this multiple times last night ensuring both array mesh and object were at 1. It didn’t work, when I CTRL+A do I select Rotation & Scale or just the Scale option. I tried it in different orders as well but to no avail. I have done this before in one of the courses in here with the same issues on the rims of the truck but was able to do this process and fix it. I know it something I am doing and or not doing…lol.

I think a good question would be when do I CTRL+A and do I select both array mesh and object at the same time or individually or do I do the array first… Etc….?
