I am trying to apply sphere projecting when unwrapping the sphere, but my image looks completely different from yours. Am I doing something wrong or do they all come out differently? Thanks!

The sphere projection unwrap will vary depending on your view in the active viewport. Try rotating the view to see how this effects your projection. In more advanced cources you will learn other ways to control the unwrap.

Thank you! That makes a lot more sense. Sometimes my uv maps were the opposite of yours and sometimes they were plain off. I will play around with that to see the changes.
