      I am having a very annoying problem thats not allowing me to continue with the course, when i select texture in the viewport shading the checkers dont show up on the monkey.
      Please help i have no clue what i have done wrong, i have followed all of the tutorials perfectly.

        Are you using the Blender Render engine to view textures in the viewport?

          I was using cycles, when i switched back to blender render it worked!
