how to reduce the noise?

Hi, I having a noise problem. I followed the video but got a lot more noise than the downloaded version.

the image below is the CGCookie version

this image is my version

and this version have Is Camera Ray enabled, if I use the other option it gets even worse.

how can I have a better result? (I use 500 samples)
