      Right now I am modelling a microwave But i am having problems of creating the Vents first i tired the boolean modifier. It looked good at first but there were no holes in it then i pushed it inwards it created a hole but it was very unrealistic. Does any body have an idea on how to model the vents?

          HI shanr, if I understand correctly what you mean, you could start with something like this:

          and then press V, ( Enter), G, Z to get something like this:

          You will need a few more edge loops at the bending ‘corners’ (use CTRL+B, for instance..), but then you can add a Subdivision Surface Modifier and a Solidify and that’s basically it…

          And with very little effort you already have something like this:

          Depending on how close you get to it, you can make more or less detail
