How to make tubes for a gas lamp

I am in a bit of a pickle at the moment, as I can’t seem to make those tubes look how they should. I tried extruding from the bottom part of the lamp to try and create a curved tube but it just doesn’t look right. Any ideas?

At the bottom add an Edge Loop and scale it out a bit to round out that flat section between the curves.

At the top add a couple of Edge Loops to “tuck” the glass under the lip of the top part of the lamp.

In the middle add an Edge Loop and scale as needed to round out the belly of the glass as needed AFTER the top has been tucked.
