      I used the same parameters as seen on this video but I cannot make the same tapering effect, in this video the particles look like they go to the inside of the smoke trail at the end or that the ones on the center dissapear last, compared to the ones around it. 

      On my project it looks messy, like all the particles at the end dissapear at the same time, so you have a lot of them at the end spread across the width of the collection of particles going small at the same time.

      I also tried changing the ParticleSize texture but no luck. Am I missing something?

        You could try adding a vortex field to your scene! This might pull some of those pesky trailing particles inward so it tapers more.

          Have you tried changing the randomness of the particle lifetime to something like .5? That gives the illusion of tapering off

            Thanks for the replies, I ended up trying both and they work very well together, force fields are very interesting and I am looking into it more 🙂
