                Oh ok, yes – thanks for the clarification. Unfortunately, the devs changed this behavior not too long ago. Here’s my tweet when I realized the change: https://twitter.com/khtrammell/status/828706828179619840

                The “hidden wire” addition is supposed to be the replacement. But it’s not as ideal imo. Honestly, I just retopologize my models with 2.77a since I like that method better 😏

                    It’s a bummer for sure. But at the end of the day, who cares about jumping backward a few Blender versions. Frankly it’s an asset that we can do that, not a problem.
