Forum Archive › How is the scene still so bright after you turn off the environmental lighting?
At around 0:34, the background lighting’s strength is turned to 0 but shadows and the color of the backdrop is still visible. Is there some other setting that is turned on to allow so much light to still show up in the render viewport?
There is a Point Light , which he renames Key a few seconds later. That is doing all the illumination.
You’re right! I forgot to turn the exposure up to match the brightness of the scene so I thought there was some other setting being used, thanks!
