      how do you switch between RGB and CMYK in Photoshop? Or do you mean i should use lighter hues when the intention is to print later?

        You can switch by going to the Top Menu Bar > Image > Mode > RGB or CMYK. It’s hard to see the difference at first but you’ll notice the difference if you print something =]
