I looked at the videos with the Jonathan explaining the loops. I  understand what he does. But when I make even the simplest model I can  not handly anything about the loops. What is my primitive for “drawing”  the contour of my model: an edge loop or a face loop? Really, how can one learn that??? Seriously I try and try and try… I am a long time blender user and can not progress because of that.

I need a video of you guys going even one step back. It is impossible to learn it with a 2-3 minutes explaining.

Hey @thoefer , if you get stuck on this while making your own model, I’d recommend posting to the Community to get advice so we can help you out.

An edge loop, but since you’ll often need to change directions and use poles around a detail, you’ll end up with a face loop anyway.

Thanks Jonathan, I think I already made some progress!
