How did he select the sphere animation key to drag it to frame 100?

Not sure about your question.

But I try as much as possible to answer,
- he first set frame 100 (by click the frame 100 with right-click mouse)
- then, just pull the Y manipulator on the sphere to the right,
- press ‘i’ and select location
- The sphere animation key is now at frame 100
correct me if I wrong
