How did he make the topology_1 example?

Might be a silly question, but I tried to make it and failed. I see that he uses mirror and subdivision surface modifiers. I tought it could be a cube with subdivision, but I don’t get those faces on the top in edit mode.

I find out what to do. You can make a cube apply the subdivision surface and then transform it to a sphere by searching it with the F3 shortcut.

Seens like there’s an addon that can alson do that by adding a round cube.
