How are the arrows made in the exercise file?

How are the arrows made in the exercise file?

In the bottom of the 3D viewport (actually it’s the 3D viewport header), clic on the “3-colored axes” button located next to the “Global” button. 😉
In the expanded region, you can then chose if you want the arrows, cubes or circles (or a combination) wich represents respectively your location, scale and rotation widgets.
