Hi,
I am using a macbook pro with a magic mouse. On the trackpad all movements are very smooth out of the box. I can rotate in all directions with 2 finger swipes, pressing shift at the same time gives me pans and if I pinch I can zoom. With the magic mouse it is also very smooth and natural; I can rotate and pan with 1 finger (pressing shift to pan) but I can not zoom by pinching. I think it is because Apple took of the option of pinching with the magic mouse one or 2 OS versions ago.
Now I try to change the preferences so I could ALT + scroll with the mouse to zoom but the config screen is not taking in account the gesture on the magic mouse. Is there a way I can intruduce this manually, I mean by code?

Thank you for your reply. The option ’emulate 3 button mouse’ is not giving me the possibility to do the movements I discribed in my question but holding the left mouse + ALT, so that means that I loose the possibility to select with the left mouse.

I will ask the question on the blender forum. Maybe they know more about there. I saw that there is always reference to some python script when rolling over the shortcuts, although I do not know anything about it, I though you might lighten my path.

PS: The option to have the everywhere else hard return (shift+return) shortcut as Submit shortcut over here is very enoying :/
