Hide and Un-Hide parts of the hair?

Hi Kent, really enjoying your awesome course, quick question.
What do you pressed (keyboard shortcut) to hide  and un-hide some the hair parts, to add hair cards under it to cover the scalp further (eg at 7:41) ?

@keiko At 7:41 I’m hiding selected objects (H hotkey) and unhiding all hidden objects (ALT + H).

Another question : on the node wrangler part, I activated the add on, followed and shift control lmb on the image texture node but its not giving me the lazy connect (viewer) like on your video, is this a bug or I”m missing something?

to preview the node, you hold down ctrl along with shift when you click on the node.
