      Hi Kent,
When setting up the blender enviroment, how do I have the vertices follow an axis in camera view ? It’s fine on front view. Your .blend file has a different camera orientation and locks to x axis. Should I ignore this for the minute and just use your setup?

Try setting your Transform Orientation to be “View”. Then when looking at your model through the camera you can press G once and then Z twice to move it directly at or away from the view.
