Having problems with extrusion

So im working on a tank model, but forgot some of the techniques and wanted too look again, but i encountered a problem, when i extrude in face selection i think that im getting double faces, how to fix that?

Hey @distrub441 , it’s hard to say without seeing you do it but you could be extruding and then cancelling the move part of the two step operation. That would make it so that there are duplicate faces right on top of each other.
