Halloween Challenge 2021 WIP- Nightmares on Blender

The picture will be a child waking from a nightmare: being chased by pumpkins out for revenge. Enacting a blood fued due to thousends of their kind being gutted and curved every year.

You can see the terror in the kids eyes, feel your skin crawling.

Nightmares on…..

Got me shaking in my boots.

started to setup my room.  For the lights in the room i am still not sure if  I will take a lamp on the night stand or a night light. The night light would give it more of a “I am scared of the dark” vibe. I will test it out and see what is better for the mood

I already corrected them in my model, so the light only comes through the window

I desided  on a nightlight and placed the placeholder for the pumpkin lanterns. the child has a little owl nightlight

today i experimented with the look of the pumpkins. it is a simple scary face to find out how it could look. I think the red light is best to get a scary look

Reminds me of headless rider holding a scary looking pumpkin from the movie of Sleepy Hollow.

i started modelling little Aurelio. He is 5-6 Years old and 1,13m tall

Why is it we always remember the scary nightmares for ages after?

I still remember the nightmares I had as a kid of being abducted by aliens and waking in fear, or are they memories?

Waking from a nightmare and seeing those pumpkins will put me off pumpkin soup for life.
