Hair coming out of the eyes?

Much apologies if this has been covered in the previous video, honestly there was so much information that my head feels a little too full right now 😛

Anyways, is there a reason for why I’ve got hair coming out of the model’s eyes? Is it a clumping issue? Did I mess up with the scalp creation?

Do you have a hair particle system only on the scalp or on the head as well? I don’t think the scalp geometry should be near the eyes.

I think that is, because you are using interpolated children (which is correct).

Suppose you have only two hairs, one on the left side of the head and one on the right, then an interpolated child will be somewhere in between and might end up coming out of an eye;)

This will get better if you have more hairs.

It can also be improved, by making more ‘scalps’, one for the left side, one for the right  and maybe even a top and back one…
