Going to go take the blender beginner course I guess

Guess I need to go do the blender basic course you were into all sorts of things like parenting the model together and stuff I didn’t know that was a way to do that I alway hit “M” to make a collection. I dont understand the chioice to use the Viewport Display and use it to set color’s. Even though mine it showing black in the color pallet  how do I change it ? You messed me up lol 

I made this rifle in blender and though I was doing good in my journey lol

Yes, the Blender Basics is a must, even if you have some Blender experience:

The viewport display is just preference, you can work in whichever mode of display you like.
