          I tried to use defocus on blender 2.77a and it’s not working. Enabled Use Z-buffer and plugged the Depth socket of the image into Z socket, changed the F-Stop and doesn’t work.

            You’re sure the same setup works in previous versions of Blender? If that’s the case you it might be wise to submit a bug report.
