For some reason ever since I got Blender in the 2.7 series Control Z doesn’t seem to work in object mode. Do you know any way to fix this problem? Thanks

That’s a problem I’ve never heard of before. Maybe try File > Load Factory Settings to see if Blender’s behavior returns to normal.
