Fit Curve not working (Blender 4.3.2)

I successfully created an array of ico spheres which followed a path. The Fixed Count and Fit Length types work as expected but the Fit Curve doesn’t. It stops generating ico spheres well before getting to the end of the path. In my example, a Fixed Count of 36 reaches the end but when I select Fit Curve only 7 ico spheres are generated. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

It’s not a bug! You are doing something wrong 😉

The Scale of the Icospheres should be Applied, that is the most likely cause. Also, the Curve should best not be Scaled in Object Mode, only in Edit Mode.

It could be something else is wrong too, but these are the things to check first.

Thank you so much. I knew the chances of it being a bug were extremely slim 😊. Applying the scale did the trick.
