First of all, I love the series so far, and it’s really useful 🙂 I do have a question about the smoke simulations though. When I create a smoke simulation I end up with an extremely bright looking simulation, unlike your simulations in the video, which shows a nice difference in intensity of the fire. A screenshot of what I get can be found here: http://imgur.com/lvMApaS . Do you know of a way to solve this and/or does this effect I’m seeing actually influence the result of the simulation? Thanks in advance!

Mine looks like that too occasionally, just not in the video. There must be some setting that triggers it but I can’t think of it off the top of my head. Maybe because I’m using fire + smoke emission instead of just fire? It doesn’t influence the simulation in any way though, so you should be good to go!

I have smoke + fire as well, so I’m guessing that’s not what causes it. But if the final result is the same however, I guess it doesn’t matter too much. Thanks a lot!
