Since I got a few more days of my vacation left, I thought it´d be a good idea to start with the HUMAN course 🙂

I was lazy during the weekend, but made a bit of progress today 🙂

I´m done with the sculpture so far, but I want to make a woman. So my next step is, to make a female sculpture. Or at least adjust this to look female 🙂

It looks more like a male than a female. If you want to make it as a feminist you may want to change some features especially the jawline and the muscles. The jaw should be angular and the muscles should be rounded & smooth.

That´s because this is a male head. My next step is to either make a female sculpture or make this one in a female head.

I like to help to give some photo references of both male and female heads.  Men tend to have jagged and blocky shapes and women tend to have angular and smooth rounded shapes.

Could you please point out the areas that still need work? For me the male and female heads I did already look blocky /round enough.

@fide Everything you did is great and on point except the nose and shoulders on both male and female parts. Their nose bridge is kinda flat and thin. It should protrude a little further and its width should be a little wider as it matches the width of nose wings.
Their shoulders seem muscular than normal. It seems like they hit the gym working out their shoulders.

I tweaked the heads a bit more. I changed a lot on the male head, to make him look younger.

I didn´t do a lot for the woman. I tweaked the eyes, so they don´t look that suprised, made the nose and bridge of the nose a bit bigger and reduced the distance between eyes and nose 🙂

She looks a lot like Jennifer Lawerance from the Hunger Game.

I quite enjoy retopo days! Throw on some headphones for music…then a podcast…and just click away 🙂
