Feature Request: turn off notifications that advertise new courses

Sorry they 👾 you but I enjoy those notifications. Let’s me know that new content is available. Once I dismiss them they don’t come back for me at least

My notification hides in a tab like a weird piece of grey toast at the top of the window. I take a peek at it every once in a while just to see if it has changed. I’m not too bothered by it.

Ah……I misunderstood. Your title made it sound like you want them to just turn them off completely for all users.

Adding a user option for each user to turn them off in their preferences is a valid feature request.

I think that is a good comment for the Cookie Helper Life-Buoy and telling the admins you would like that as a feature request.
