I would like to know about tension map working principle in blender as well as how to use modifiers for facial animations.

I can see some using modifiers to different purpose apart from modeling. Can anyone provide a detailed tutorial in that topic??

These are some advanced stuff here but the principle is pretty basic.

Caesar Salcedo is quite a master in blender and shown a tension map use here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mmNsyTqVyj0

It generate a red/black/green dynamic vertex colour map wich can then be used to drive anyting like a displacement map, a normal map, a bump map etc….

        check this out : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6G8SkBQngvw

I’ve also covered this rapidly a few years ago with driven masks linked to a rig.

You have to lead your own tests here 😉
