Face creation – not linking to closest vertex

Hi when I do the F2 – Face creation in the same perspective and cursor position as show it creates a face with the point on the opposite end of the lid and not the points above, did I miss a setting somewhere?

Well didnt get any answer from here, but basically its creates a face with the closet edge in 2d space, so the cursor needs to be close to the point above

Sorry for the late reply. You’re right that with F2 it sources it face-filling direction from where you mouse cursor is located.
